Overview
The following Greasemonkey script allows you to quickly zoom all thumbnails in a smugmug.com photo gallery to the same ratio (or back to their original size). Currently, smugmug only allows you to zoom one photo at a time, which can be very tedious if you prefer all of your thumbnails in a gallery to share the same aspect ratio, such as 1:1 for a square box.

This script is not designed to alter your original photograph, just the thumbnail.
Bulk Zoom Thumbnails to Ratio: Installing

  1. Use the Firefox web browser with the Greasemonkey extension installed
  2. Download the sm_bulkzoom.user.js script
  3. When prompted, click the install button
Bulk Zoom Thumbnails to Ratio: Using
In order to be able to use this script, you must be located on one of your gallery pages, in a traditional, slideshow or allthumbs viewing mode. Allthumbs is the quickest if you want to convert an entire gallery. Once you have navigated to that page, do the following:
  1. Locate the Greasemonkey icon in the lower right hand corner of your browser.
  2. Right-click on this icon and scroll to 'User Script Commands...'
  3. Click on the 'Zoom Thumbnails (Bulk)' link and a window will popup in your browser allowing you to select the ratio and begin the automatic zoom process.

DuringAfter
After selecting your ratio and
beginning the process, a
status screen is displayed as
each thumbnail is redrawn
When completed, the page will
reload and your thumbnails will
all be the same aspect ratio.
